Photographer: Rich Zimmermann

Biography:
Rich Zimmermann’s professional career in photography began in the early 1970s and continues on today. Always seeking to gain access with the coveted backstage pass, Zimmermann often traveled to shoot concerts for various “underground” counter-culture publications. Among his elite subjects are David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Queen, and Jefferson Starship. Recognizing the historical impact of Rock 'n' Roll photography on popular culture, Zimmermann briefly opened a studio showcasing his collection. Currently, Rich Zimmermann strives to capture the exhilaration of open-wheel automobile racing.
