Photographer: John Rockwood

Biography:
John Rockwood began his career in photography after being heavily influenced by the blues resurgence led by British bands such as The Yardbirds and The Rolling Stones in the 1960s. Being an ambitious young man with a camera, Rockwood gained backstage access to many concerts and photographed great musicians on and off stage. Rockwood’s photography has been featured on numerous album covers, in books about Muddy Waters, Bill Wyman, Waylon Jennings, and consistently showcased in Living Blues, one of the most durable chronicles of the blues experience. Included in his collection are photographs of legends like B.B King, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Muddy Waters. Today John Rockwood is a devoted blues producer.
