The best live music photography should be easy to find and affordable as fine art for my home or office.

That was the assumption of our founder, a recent president of a large retailer, when he set out to decorate his home theater.

What he found was disappointing. There were a lot of cheap posters and poor quality photo prints from photographers’ negatives. There were even a few overpriced rock art galleries with staggering prices.

Then our founder and his Backstage Gallery team began to discover the legendary photographers you’ll meet here. While opening dusty file cabinets and boxes in their home studios, these veteran ‘shooters’ revealed to us incredible backstage stories of the best concerts in multiple cities and venues from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and even some current shows.

Our team then moved to action to build one of the country’s premier digital imaging labs to capture and preserve our photographer partners’ life work to bring you the ability to share in the live music experience with the artists you love.
